An antique Chinese ginger jar. This hand-painted rustic jar is decorated with simple blue brush stroke symbols and finished with a crackled glaze.
Originally used to store and transport spices, herbs or precious items.
Date is unknown, possibly 19th century.
Pre-used, in good condition, where consistent with age and use. Old production process has left manufacturing flaws that adds to it’s character. Please see photos.
